Show INTERSTATE FAIR WANTS UTAH HELP Special to Tho Tribune. DENVER. Colo., July .1. Secretary G. C. Fuller of the second annual interstate inter-state fair and exposition, which will be held at Overland park, Denvor, September Sep-tember 12 to .IS, announces that special spe-cial railroad rates havo been secured in favor of visitors and exhibitors from Utah points. The rates from Colorado points are unusually liberal, and an exceptionally ex-ceptionally low rate will apply from the most important points in Utah. Tho fair this year is expected to break all records in attendance, and this, together to-gether with tho excellent attendance last season, is the principal reason for the low rates. Secretary Fuller has secured se-cured many excellent attractions, both in tho entertainment lino and in the educational departments. The Pains Fireworks company of New York six evenings during tho week will give the "Battle in the Clouds.'' which is the grand spectacular pyrotechnic feature prepared especially to be given at the Seattle exposition". On Wednesday of fair week there will be a genuine head-on head-on collision between two eighty-ton locomotives with lenders. The fair opens Sunday with a musical festival, and closes Saturday with a grand mask carnival and ball at the grounds. Afternoons during the week there will be a speed programme under the management of Edwin Gaylord. Entries En-tries in the harness classes close August 2 with Secretary Fuller at the Tabor opera house block, Denver. |
