Show WOUNDED MAN IS NOW NEARLY OUT OF DANGER , Xcls Paulson, who was shot and seriously seri-ously wounded by J. L. Malono in tho J. P. Paulson store, on West Second South street, Thursday evening, has passed tho immedialo danger lino and is resting easily at the L. D. S. hospital. hos-pital. Dr. S. H. Pinkerton, surgeon in chargo of tho case, sa3s that his recovery re-covery is very promising, aud that there arc no doubts of his recovery unless complications arise. J. P. Paulson, founder of tho company com-pany of that name, and brother of the wounded man,-arrived in Salt Lako at 6:15 Saturday evening from Denver. Immediately Im-mediately upon his arrival he went to tho hospital aud saw his brothor, with whom he -was allowed to remain bift live minutes. Mr. Paulson said last night that he v,-as .highly gratified that -his brother's condition "was so hopeful, and that his stay in Salt Lako would depend upon the condition of Nels. Mr. Paulson was not inclined to say what lino of prosecution prose-cution would bo followed in dealing with Mr. Malono, Mrs, Ncls Paulson, who has remained by the bedside of her husband sinco the snooting, upon tho advico of tho attending at-tending physicians, went to her home Saturday'. |
