Show MURRAY NEWS NOTES Special to The Tribune. MUBKAY, April 10. Murray churches church-es have prepared special services for Easter Sunday. The services will c.ou-sist c.ou-sist of elaborate musical programmes. Good Friday was observed at both the Baptist and Methodist churches at Murray this week. Tho Mormon churches church-es of this place are also planning special spe-cial Easter services for Sunday. The city treasurer, William II. Dish-op Dish-op of Murray City, has tendered his monthly statement to the city council in regard to the financial condition of the town up to April' 1. In his report he sets forth that Murray City has a cash balance on hand amounting to $1010.71). Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. Augusta Lind, an old resident, of Murray, who died at the .Holy Cross, hopiljil this week, were held today. The body was interred in tho Salt Lake cemetery. Mrs. Lind was til years old. and had been a resident of ihis place for a number of years. An agreement was drafted and signed this week by the different saloonkeepers saloonkeep-ers in Murnn-. whereby they agree that if any agent, employee, representative or any person, visits, occupies or is seen in or about the premises of their saloons sa-loons at any time during Sunday, without with-out the written consent of the marshal, their license shall be revolted for ojie (luarler, and the saloon closed for the said epiarter. The funeral over J. V. Morgan, a pioneer of Mill Creek, who died Wednesday ovoning of old age, will be held at the Mill Creek ward house Sunday Sun-day at 2 o'clock. Bishop Price of the Mill Creek ward will preside at the services. Burial will take place at the Salt Lake cemetery, I |
