Show NOTICE. Notice Is hereby given by tho City Council of Salt Lake City of the Intention Inten-tion of such Council to make the following follow-ing described Improvement, to wit: Replacing all defective walks and walks not to grade on First South street between be-tween Second East and Sixth East streeLs, and on tho east side of Fifth East street between South Temple and First South streets, with cement sidewalks (said cement ce-ment sidewalks to bo eight (8) feet wide and four (-1) Inches thick on tho south side of First South street between Third East and Fourth East streets, and six (6) feet wide and four (I) Inches thick on tho north side of First. South street between Second East and Sixth East streets, and on tho south side of First South street botwoen Second East nnd Third East stroets. and between Fourth East and Sixth East streets, and on the east side of Fifth East street between South Temple and First South streets). In Sidewalk Districts Dis-tricts Nos. 2 and IS, and defray tho abutters abut-ters portion of the cost and expenso thereof, estimated at six thousand and thirty-nine (?G039.00) dollars; seven hundred hun-dred and flfty-nlno ($759.00) dollars, or ono and 15-100 ($1.15) dollars per front or linear foot of abutting properly for sidewalk side-walk olght feet wide, there being 660 feet abutting said portion of said Improvement; Improve-ment; and five thousand two hundred and eighty ($52S0.00) dollars, or ono (51.00) dollar per front, or linear foot of abutting Eroperty for sidewalk six feet wide, there elng D2S0 feet of abutting property on said portion of said Improvement, by a local assessment upon tho lobj or pieces of ground within the following described district, being tho district to bo affected and benefited by said improvement, namely: SIX-FOOT WALKS. Tho west side of lot 5, block 61, plat B; the south side of lots 1 and 2, block 73, the north side of lots 5, G, 7 and 8, block 72, plat A; tho south side of lots 1, 2, 3 and 4. block G3, the south side of lots 1 and 2, block 62, the north side of lots 5, G, 7 and S. block 53, the south side of lots 1. 2, 3 and 4, block 61, tho north sldo of lots 5 and 6, block 52, plat B. EIGHT-FOOT WALK. j The north sldo of lots 5 and C, block 50, plat 13, Salt Lake City Survey. Tho total cost of said Improvement Is estimated at seven thousand three hundred thirty-two and 5-100 ($7332.05) dollars, of which sum the city's portion is ono thousand two hundred ninety-three and 5-100 ($1293.05) dollars. leaving six thousand and thirty nine ($6039.00) dollars to be raised by local assessment. All protests and objections to the carrying car-rying out of such Intention must be presented pre-sented In writing to the City Recorder on or beforo the 2nd day of November, 1908, being tho tlmo set by said Council when It will hear and consider such protests and objections as may bo mado thereto.
