HUNTS FOR FORGED CERTIFICATES The following notice from the secretary of the Goldfleld Consolidated company of Goldfleld may prove of some benefit to readers of The Tribune: "The office of tho Goldfleld Consolidated Mines company is In possession of a forged certificate of Its stock. Tho forgery Is of tho brown series, numberod 6562. for 100 shares, In the name of Jno. Davis, dated May 16, 1908, and purports to have i been registered by John S. Cook & Co., . of Goldfleld. May 2, 1D0S. The forgery is considerably larger than the regular certificate, cer-tificate, lacks tho scroll for the imprint of , j ; iiese the corporate soal, and in general appear- 5 Sv ance only Is deceptive.
