Mr. and Mrs. Langford have gone to L-.c Angeles for a trip, and will b at home after November 15 at 124 K street in this city. The wedding of Mrs. Janet Shearer Peterson of San Francisco and J. M. Davis, general superintendent' of the Oregon Short Line of this city, took place in San Francisco last evening. The ceremony was performed by the Rov. Mr. Morgan of tho Episcopal Hiurch, and tho attendants were Miss Hetchens and E. M. Bagley of Salt Lake. Mr. aud Mrs. Davis have gone to Mexico for a trip, and they will be at home afler December 15 at the Bransford. 4 In honor of Miss Jean Odell. Mrs. Grant Hampton entertained at five hundred yesterday afternoon at her homo on East First South street. The hostess was assisted in receiving by Miss Odell.
