OCR Text	Show ANNUAL OUTING OF THE RETAIL CLERKS The annual outing of the Retail Clerks association will be held Wednesday at Lagoon. An exceptionally large prize list has been prepared for the occasion, liaces of all sorts for boys and girls have been arranged. Merchants of Salt Lake have contributed liberally to make the day a success. The programme for the afternoon's fun will begin at 4 o'clock, when a baseball game will be played between picked teams. The winners will bo awarded a box of cigars, but out of sympathy and compassion for the losers they will be expected to open the box as soon as tho game Is over and then they must "pass 'cm around." Following the ball gamo there will be a series of races. There will be boys' races, men's races and ladles' races, and tho races will bo on land and In the water. For most of the events two prizes have been offered, and In some three aro offered. A voting contest for tho most popular clork will be held In the evening.
