MacNeill, president of the Utah Copper company, when ufltcd if he would mnkc any reply to the lettor published In part In the Boston News Bureau of Colonel Wall, who. until recently, was a director of the company, said: "I received a letter from Colonel Wall which I bellcvo Is substantially the one which was published Wednesday. I had thought that he could not say anything further which would call forth any response from me or the board. na practically everything the board of directors has accomplished since the company com-pany was organized has been done over his protest. Since that refusal his denunciations of the management have been voluminous, public and continuous They have been of such an extraordinary character, ho undignified and unreasoning, that wc have long regarded them more in pity than In resentment.
