After sawing through the heavy bars which encompassed the roar windows to the Proud fit. sporting goods store on Twenty-fourth street, burglars wvro frightened away al some hour Monday night and failed to effect ' an entrance to the building. ; Tho attempt to burglarize the store was j discovered when the pliuo was opened ; for business Tuesday morning. The saws which were used had been taken from a tool house at tho Twenty-fourth street vluduct.
