Afternoon Calling Evidently Innate Two clean, nicely dressed little maidens, maid-ens, about 6 and 7 years old respectively, respective-ly, walked solemnly up the porch steps, and proceeded to flatten their tiny noses against the front screen. "Hoy!" shouted one. 'Hello, in there!" chirped the other, both being too small to make a successful success-ful effort to reach the door bell. The kind housewife hastily removed her hands from tho dish water, and drving them as sho approached tho front door, beheld the. two small ladies looking wistfully through the screen. Visions of Sunday schooltickets and of somo church benefit ran through tho housewife's mind as she asked: "What do you want, dears?" "Oh, we've jest come a-visitin', " replied tho smaller girl. Both giggled delightedly. "Well, 'in awfully busy now. You must como again," said the housewife, smilinglv. "Thank 3'ou," replied the little misses. They paused on the sidewalk and arranged ar-ranged their future plans carefully. Tho neighborhood was as strange to them as they were strango to it.
