SALT LAKE PREPARES TO CELEBRATE OPENING Already the Commercial club of this city has taken up the matter of arranging ar-ranging some sort of celebration for the opening of the Salt Lake route to Los Angeles. The Chamber of Commerce Com-merce of the California city la going to send its representative citizens to Salt Lake by special train, and Salt Lake has a chance to do the .same. The new railroad will be very glad to extend ex-tend the courtesies of Its line to the Commercial club or any other organi- zation, so It may be that leading citizens citi-zens of Utah will start from here at the same tlmo the Los Angeles crowd leaves that city. The two parties can meet in the desert, and, after a small celebration and handshake, the Salt Lakc-rs can go on to Los Angeles- and the Californlans can come to this city, where they can celebrate In each place.
