SHOT IN THE STREET. Prominent Wholesale Fruit Dealer in Chicago Fatally Wounded. CHICAGO, July 11. Andrew Cuneo of the linn of Cuneo Bros., prominent wholesale fruit dealers, was fatally shot In the street in front of his establishment estab-lishment today by a man giving his name as Cresclo. It is believed that Crcsclo is Insane. The men were brothers-in-law. Cresclo was soon surrounded by a crowd and was held pending the arrival ar-rival of the police. The shooting occurred in front of Cuneo s store in South Water street, where Cuneo was busy receiving fruit. Cresclo crept up behind and shot the merchant twice before a dozen bystanders by-standers could Interfere. One bullt-t took effect In the left temple, while .the second penetrated the head near the baso of the brain. Crescio was, until this morning, employed em-ployed by his brother, John Cresclo, who has a wholesale fruit store a few doors from "the house of Cuneo brothers. bro-thers. J. C. Crescio, another brother of Cuneo's assailant, married a sister of Mr. Cuneo, and after living with her for a few years Is said to have deserted i her. It Is said that this, together with the keen business rivalry between hla brother and Cuneo brothers were sufficient suf-ficient causes ln the man's disordered brain for him to attempt to take Mr. ,Cuneo's life. 4
