HAVE NARROW ESCAPE. Engine Strikes Buggy Which Con-! Con-! tains Three Men. Struck by an engine on Ihe Salt Lake & Ogden railway, William Morgan, Joo Bar-lc-w and Charles Fcnstermaker had a narrow nar-row escape while driving last night. As It was, the horse, belonging to Morgan, had both Its legs broken, and the buggy was smashed up. All three men were thrown to the ground, but did not sustain anv serious Injuries. The accident look place on Third West, at the crossing of First North. The driver did not see the engine. The engineer reversed re-versed his engine and throw on the brake, thereby avolufng fatal consequences. All three men were able to walk home.
