Show Hyde and Dimond Held far Trial Both Are Charged With Conspiracy to Defraud TJ. S. Government in Land Deals. SAN FRANCISCO. May 13. After an examination which has been in progress for sevoral weeks. United States Court Commissioner Hea-cock Hea-cock decided today that F. A. Hyde and Henry P, Dimond, both of this city, should both be held for trial at Washington, Wash-ington, D. C, on an Indictment found by the federal grand Jury of the District Dis-trict of Columbia, charging Hyde and Dimond with conspiracy to defraud the United States Government by Illegally acquiring title to public lands. Tho ball of Hyde was fixed nt 540,000 and that of Dimond at $25,000. |
