Show SHOWING UP GOLD AT STATELINE MINES While It Js not so prominent as some' of the neighbors, ono of the likeliest prospects now under development at Statellne, said P. M. McCrea on his return re-turn from camp, ls the Creole, which ls being opened up by W. H. Webber and associates under a bond. In it is now exposed three feet of gold-bearing ore of good quality, while samples indicate very high values. To open it up systematically syste-matically another compartment Is being added to thc shaft which was sunk to a depth of 100 feet by the owners and with this It will be sent down to greater depths. Mr. McCrea reports the Johnny mill doing excellent work at this time, while a new pump ls being Installed, that will put the waters under permanent control. con-trol. There la a feeling that the Ophlr of that camp will be started up In. a short time by Hamilton Carhart of Michigan and associates, while active work ls to bo returned at the Rice group. |
