meeting of the board of directors of the U F W C was held yesterday j f afternoon at the Ladles Literary clubhouse club-house and was the last meeting of dl rectors for the club year The meeting was presided over by Mrs Coulter president of the State federation fed-eration There were also present Mrs S A King of Provo vicepresident Mrs Charles D Moore recording secretary sec-retary Mrs Eugene organization organiza-tion composed of MesdaNncs W C Jennings I Jen-nings II W Brown and Susie D Rr Wella Upon inStlgutlon It was found I that the majority of clubs of Utah favored fa-vored the reorganization plan and ih tw committee so reported to the board of directors On motion of Mr Eugene Lewis the report of th committee was I adopted In the plan for reorganization sent out by the general federation n per I capita lax of I cents was suggested but the board of directors favored a Ier i capita tax of 23 cents In c < pln order that an emergency fund might be created I I A letter Sarah PlallDecker of Denver were mentioned 1 as most eapnblc women who might bo I willing to thus honor the club women I of Utah A suggestion by Mrs Coulter and one II which will doubtless meet with approval I approv-al from the majority of the club women I of the Stale was that hereafter the reading of reports of Individual clubs at i the annual meeting bo done away withIn with-In lieu of theo reports which have I previously occupied the greater part of two sessions of the annual convention Mrs Coulter sugpeslcd that reports of Individual clubs bo sent to the corresponding cor-responding conference as it was though that thereby many women from outside districts who would not otherwise attend the annual meriting would be glud to be present A committee commit-tee composed of Mesdames
