Show Open House To Note 80th i r V A 4 i Oct. 29 marks the 80th birthday birth-day of William H. Holbrook, educator, church and civic leader. The family invites all relatives, neighbors and friends to an open house in his honor Oct. 29 from 6-9 p.m. at Canterbury Hall, 197 E. 5th S., Bountiful. HE TAUGHT in the public school system for 43 years, retiring re-tiring from Bountiful High School in 1967. Along with his educational activities he served on the Bountiful City Council, was justice of the peace for 12 years, and served the Office of Price Administration Administra-tion during World War II. He was a member of the bishopric of the Bountiful 1st Ward and has held numerous ward and stake positions. He is an active member of the Sons of Utah Pioneers and participated partici-pated in the Mormon Trek of 1947. He has been a member of the Lions Club for over 40 years, and was honored as Outstanding Lion of the Year in 1972-73.
