Show i t f STATE DECA OFFICERS Davis County schools are well-represented well-represented in the makeup of the Distributive Distri-butive Education Clubs of America state presidency including Crystal Call, left, historian from Bountiful High School; Mark McMillan, president, from Davis; Ann Marie Troth, vice president from Woods Cross and Debbie Bishop, secretary secret-ary from Hillcrest, Jordan District. These are the Utah State DECA officers. DECA stands for Distributive Educational Clubs of America. Mark McMillan, president; Ann Marie Troth, vice president; Crystal Call, historian. All are from the Davis County School District. This is very advantageous advan-tageous for the Davis area. THIS FALL, these officers will attend the Western Regional Re-gional Leadership Conference in Las Vegas, Nev. Nov. 20-22. 20-22. They will be accompanied by student representatives from various DECA chapter members. This year state DECA is involved in-volved with many service activities. acti-vities. Recently they participated partici-pated in the Jerry Lewis Tele-thone Tele-thone and the March of Dimes has been chosen as their Civic Conciousness Project. They will host four dance-a-thons throughout the state, one will be held in Ogden. Salt Lake City, Provo and southern Utah. THE DECA Clubs of Davis County provide many community com-munity services. We hope the community as well as the school DECA chapters will support them in their activities. |
