Show Rites Held For Horton D. Hess January 2, 1929, in the Logan LDS Temple. He was a member mem-ber of the LDS Centerville 14th Ward. A Scout master from 1944-1963, earning the Silver Beaver Award. He has been High Priest Secretary, in the Presidency of both Sunday School and MIA. He received his Master M. Men Certificate and was an Ordinance Temple worker. VETERAN OF World War II, United States Army Cavalry, Caval-ry, and was retired from the Post Office. He is survived by his wife, Centerville, Ut.; two sons, Horton D. Hess Jr., and Kenneth Ken-neth W. Hess, Centerville. One daughter, Mrs. Ronald "Shirley" Jensen, Salt Lake City, 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. HORTON D. HESS Horton D. Hess, Sr., 77, died October 13, 1981, in Bountiful, Utah. HE WAS born Sept. 14. 1904, at Fielding Utah, the son of Jediah Morgan and Rheumi-na Rheumi-na Earl Hess. He married Estella Smith on FUNERAL Services were held Oct. 16. at 11:00 a.m. at the Rolling Hills Chapel, 200 E. 1815 No., Centerville, Utah. Funeral arrangements by Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary.
