Show Council On Aging To Receive $4,144 Additional This Year FARMINGTON The Davis County Council on Aging will receive an additional $4,144 this year as a result of a contract amendment signed Tuesday by county commissioners for the Utah State Division On Aging. THE PURPOSE of the amendment is to increase funding for the Council On Aging's Ag-ing's approved area rjan and will not cost the county anything in cash or matching funds. The contract agreement acknowledges that "the state shall authorize additional funding in the amount of $4,144 in fiscal year 1981 State Alternatives Funding." ALL OTHER conditions and terms included in-cluded in the original contract between the state and Davis County will remain the same, according to the amendment. The contract was approved by the commission com-mission and signed by Commission Chairman Chair-man Ernest Eberhard. The commission did not say when the additional funds will be available. ACCORDING TO Commission Secretary Secret-ary Nancy Burningham, the entire $4,144 allocation will go directly into the Council On Aging budget. |
