OCR Text	Show SHOOTING AT FORT ShERIDAN Chicago Sept 18Todays shooting at Fort Sheridan closed the preliminaries prelimin-aries and tomorrow and Thursday will be given over to bulls eye and other firing fir-ing which will be for wi mostly practice An Interesting feature of the shooting today wasthe trial of the new Kragh Jorgensen rifle In the last skirmish the weapon was placed in the hands of Private Coates Fifteenth Infantry He was not aware of the fact that he was to make the run with the new weapon and made a score of 42 hits The best score here today was made by Sergeant Ser-geant Day Tenth Infantry who scored 120 j 3 > TO < I f f
