| Show I O O F Chattanooga Tenn Sept 18 Washington Wash-ington city had a determined set of delegates working for her and Atlantic city was chosen by the sovereign grand lodge I O O F today a the next place of meeting Representative Morris of Kentucky nominated deputy grand sire John W I Stebbins of Maryland for grand sire and he was unanimously elected Representavite Musson nominated Hermann Block of Iowa for deputy grand sire Dr W H Isard of New Jersey was also placed in nomination Representative Humphrey nominated W E Carlin of Illinois and further nominations were made in the persons I of John B Goodwin of Atlanta Ga i Hon Fred Carleton of Texas G 1 Sloan of St Louis I Then the nominations ceased and the first ballot resulted as follows Carleton Carle-ton 51 Pinkerton 32 Block 27 Isard 23 Carlin 24 Goodwin 15 Sloan 16 Carleton of Texas was declared elected Thedbre Ross of New Jersey was unanimously elected as grand secretary I sec-retary and Isaac Sheppard of Pennsylvania Penn-sylvania was unanimously reelected treasurer After some routine business the meeting adjourned |
