| Show ANOTHER CERTinORVRI PETITION ExFireman J J Clark Sues the Fire Commissioners J 1 CJark formerly a member of the fire department yesterday by his attorneys Powers Straup filed in the office of the Third district court a petition for a writ of certiorarI against the board of police and fire commissioners commis-sioners The action is a similar one to that commenced by William Gilbert against the commissioners a week ago Clark alleges that he was wrongfully dismissed that he was unlawfully compelled to undergo a physical examination ex-amination the new law providing for such applying only to new applicants S or > positions In the department and not J to the old hands He also alleges that Jit the hearing before the board no evidence was Introduced against him and that he by the testimony of three jthysicians disproved the statement that he was physically incapacitated I from serving on the department on account I count of weakness of the heart |
