ii1IiiOII TH AtiS1 TOne T-One to Be Leased or Built at Once CLEARINGS JUMPING UP THIS YEARS TOTAL WILL EXCEED LAST YEAR President Green of the Copper Plant Arrives Utahs Splendid Financial Financi-al Standing Second Burn of the Local Portland Cement Company Soldiers Paid Off Silver Still Dropping Negotiations are now on between the DalyWest Mining company and the Crescent Mining company looking1 to the leasing of the mill of the latter to the owners of the DalyWest Should tle these negotiations never reach a successful suc-cessful issue Park City will get another an-other concentrating plant yet this year This was the announcement made yesterday yes-terday in mining circles by one of the interested parties The DalyWest people peo-ple are very desirous of treating their own ore this desire having been made even more acute by the recent discoveries discov-eries made in the mine A full force of men has been employed on the property prop-erty since the sixty days close down during the summer and it Is the intention inten-tion to take out not less than 150 tons of ore dally as soon as the necessary mill arrangements have been made Should the company decide to put in its own plant the construction will commence com-mence in the very near future the plant to be of 150 tons capacity For the purpose of learning just what is the scope of the improvements and changes contemplated by the company a Herald reporter yesterday interviewed interview-ed J J Daly one of the principal owners own-ers and that gentleman confirmed the report which had been circulated regarding re-garding the mill proposition Within a comparatively short time i will be determined whether or not the company com-pany will lease the Crescent plant and should the negotiations fall to the ground a mill will be erected by the DalyWest people Speaking of the recent discoveries in the property Mr Daly stated that the ore bodies are exceptionally ex-ceptionally large and very rich Notwithstanding Not-withstanding the opinion to the contrary con-trary the mine has been worked steadily stead-ily since the resumption last summer In common with the other interested parties Mr Daly feels well pleased with the showing being made by the mine
