| Show Obituary Mrs Elizabeth Rogers died yesterday morning Sept 18 at 506 a m at Bingham Bing-ham after a short illness of five days Deceased was born in Washington Daviess county Indiana in 1822 and reached the advanced age of 72 years at her death Her illness was thought at first to be only a mild attack of pneumonia pneu-monia but her age was against her and after struggling and bearing bravely up under the great ordeal she was forced to succumb and although suffering considerably con-siderably her last moments were marked by a very happy composure She died peaceably happy and contented her face bearing a mild and pleasant expression as one at peace with her God and the world She enjoyed the happiness of dy i ing in the arms and presence of her devout de-vout children who remembering a kind mothers love did everything in their power to comfort and console her ere she departed this life Her three sons lice Ans and Charlie are well known throughout the west and especi ally among the railroad officials they being engaged as railroad agents at Bingham The remains will be taken to Denver for Interment The funeral cortege will leave Joseph VlKm Tavlors nnilertnkinar parlors at 730 a m where the remains have been I I embalmed and from there will be takerr to the Ro Grande express which leav sat s-at 8 oclock for Denver The deceased was loved and respected by everyone who had the pleasure of being acquainted with her during life and the people of Bingham sympathize with her sons In this their hour of sad affliction Com J |
