Show The Regional Center was overflowing with women who came to listen to President Spencer W. Kimball speak at the historic fireside aimed at women and their need to focus on proper priorities. Welcome to Sam and Haunani Adams who moved from the Orchard area where they have lived since moving here from St. Cloud, Minn. in. Jan. Their new address is at 3166 South 100 East. They have three children. Sam is a claims adjuster for Millbank Mutual Insurance Co. and Haunani, born in Hawaii, works part-time at the bakery at Winegars. Steven and Olive Slagowski are new at 837 West 4050 South, formerly the home of Alma and Lois Keiser who have moved to Salt Lake City. Steven is a native of this area. while Olive hails from North Ireland. Steven is a carpenter for Mills Construction Co. in Salt Lake City. He is currently working on the building of the new Wendy's Hamburger Restaurant in North Salt Lake. They have a two year old son Richard Neil. Eldon and Donna Martin-dale Martin-dale have moved to Summit Park. Moving into the home at 818 West 4050 South are David and Jan Shaw and their son Brandon. David is in electronics and Jan works at a local dry cleaners. Billy Ray and Karlene Jackson from North Salt Lake have moved in at 593 West 3850 South. They bought the home from the Herbert Smith family who have moved to Bozeman, Mont. They have three children. Billy Ray is engineering manager for uampDeil international. Warren and Diane Phister-and Phister-and children have changed addresses from 3483 South 100 West to their newly built home at 3478 South Lexington. Warren is art coordinator for Young Electric Sign Company Com-pany and Diane is employed at Picadilly Clothing Store. They used to own the Ice Cream Parlor next to Slim Olsons. Moving into their former home are Jack and Sheila Hayes and 13-year old Mark from Westchester, in the Los Angeles area. Jack is employed at Spectrum Press. Move-ins at 3453 Medford Dr. from North Salt Lake are musician Jay and Janet Pearce and their three children. Jay owns Pearce Music Co. where he makes and repairs string instruments. in-struments. He is well known in; this area as the conductor of the orchestra and chorus for the annual Regional production produc-tion of "The Messiah," which has begun rehearsals. He is also a member of the Oratorio . Society. The entire family is musically oriented with Janet playing the violin, Andy playing play-ing the cello, piano and clarinet. Kyle and Jason both play the piano and violin. |
