Melanie 4, Jimmy 7, Marcy 2, Lisa 8 and mother Sylvia Maynard all enjoy en-joy this sweet yet tart entree, with small squares of pork, pineapple, green pepper and tomato wedges with vinegar for tartness and other seasonings. season-ings. THESE CHILDREN all look forward to being served this delicious dish which might be a good change in your menu. Try serving it with steamed or fried rice. With a spring salad, rolls, dessert and beverage this makes a lovely luncheon or dinner. SWEET SOUR PORK 1 lb. pork meat, boneless V4 tsp. Accent 2 Tbsp. cornstarch 1 egg, slightly beaten V4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. soy sauce cracker meal or crushed crackers 1 green pepper, cut in 1 inch chunks 1 large tomato cut in wedges 2 Tbsp. cornstarch with 4 Tbsp. water 34 cup pineapple chunks 2 cup water cup white vinegar l2 cup catsup cup sugar 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 4 dashes tobasco 2 pinches of salt Trim any bone, gristle or fat from meat and cut into inch chunks. Prepare mixture of egg, salt, accent, soy sauce and cornstarch. Dip pork into this egg mixture, then roll in cracker meal and let stand until un-til coating dries, about 30 minutes, or overnight. DEEP FRY in 1 or 2 inches of hot fat for about 10 minutes at 350 degrees or until meat is well cooked.
