It's great to learn that Shauna Muir, daughter fo the Ron Muirs, has been called on an LDS Mission to Bolivia. Since Easter is right around the corner, let's remind you that the West Bountiful 2nd Ward Laurels are selling chocolate covered Easter eggs in order to earn money for a service project. They are made of delicious divinity and will have individual in-dividual names written on them. They are fifty cents a piece. Anyone interested in ordering the delicious items, are invited to contact Sharon Salmon or Carol Bangerter, or any of the Laurel girls. The young women of the 2nd Ward invite all young ladies from twelve to eighteen and their mothers to attend their Homemaking Fair, April 21st. The Alan Bradburys had all the members of his family as their guests at dinner Sunday. Among those present were parents, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Bradbury, Brigham City, his brother, Travis, and sister, Diana and boy friend; his brother and wife, Ray and Rae Bradbury, Brigham City; and brother, James and wife, Brenda and two children, Justin and Belinda, of Sandy. A sure sign of spring is the fact that the little league teams have been practicing baseball and Softball at the West Bountiful Elementary School. Helen and Jimmy Davis and three other units of their rock group journeyed out to the geod beds along the old Pony Express Road, between Faust and Callao. One take the road west of Lehi to find the place. Jimmy and Helen said they found some very pretty pieces of rock, which they would like to build into a bird bath. The Gary Peterson family traveled to the sand dunes over the weekend. They recommend this trip to everyone who wants to have a fun spring day. Werner and Trudi Rosemann and Grandma Lenah were more than happy to attend the German Conference Session Sunday afternoon. They enjoyed hearing the choir sing in German. Harold Drawe was among the singers. Debbie Ashby thinks that April is the very best time of the year. Monday she was honored on her birthday, with a trip to Salt Lake City and with a special dinner and birthday cake. |
