Show - " 1 n w 'h BCC Choir Slates Palm Sunday Music The Bountiful Community Church Choir will present a variety program of sacred and secular works on Palm Sunday, April 11, at 7 :30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. 100 N. 400 E. Admission is free and the public is invited. THE 25-VOICE choir under the direction of Mary Louise Wetzel has been has been preparing the program for several months. In addition to four numbers by the choir, individuals from the group will perform vocal and instrumental ins-trumental solos and ensemble works. Melvin C. Petersen, church oganist, will accompany accom-pany the choir. The choir will perform "Come Unto Me" from the St. Robert Fawcett and Robyn Smith u part in "Your Land and My Land" Matthew Passion" by Johann Stba-suan Bach, "Mountains" by Oscar Rasbach, "You'll Never Walk Alone" by Rodgers and Hammerstein and "The Lord"s Prayer" by Albert Hay Malotte. THE PROGRAM will also include a bass vocal solo, a piano soloist, a women's trio, a violin solo, an organ work and some spoken remarks on the significance of music in the church. The choir performs from September through May for Sunday worship and, on special church holidays.
