Show Bountiful LaLeche 7 Meet To Discuss ' Nursing Children I ) The Bountiful group of La Leche League will hold the if last meeting in a series of j four this Tuesday, Dec. 20 at y 2467 EdgehiU Drive at 7 p.m. . fl THE group meets the third $ Tuesday of each month to in-u in-u formally discuss different 1 phases of breastfeeding. The Siopic for this meeting will be Nutrition and Starting Solids." The name La Leche, is Spanish and means "the Inilk." A non-profit, non sec-i. sec-i. J arian organization, the ji ague's goal is to help en-srage en-srage "good mothering J .Tugh breastfeeding." I LA LECHE League began : 1956 in a Chicago suburb, a" men, one mother, who had successfully nursed her baby, helped another who wanted to breastfeed. The same approach is still used, even though the league is now international, in-ternational, with over 2,000 groups helping mothers all over the United States, Canada and in 30 foreign countries. All women who are interested in nursing their babies are invited along with their babies. You need not be pregnant or even have a family to attend. If you are interested you are welcome.
