Show Jewish Center Sets Winter Programs The Salt Lake Jewish Community Com-munity Center, a United Way agency, begins its winter program during the week of Jan. 8. Most classes and workshops run from eight to ten weeks. Preregistration begins Dec. 11. NOT ONLY the Jewish Community, but the entire community at large is welcome wel-come to participate in activities activi-ties offered to people of all ages. For children and teens some of the classes offered are juggling, magic, tie-dyeing, creative art and a special course in babysitting taught in conjunction with the police department, fire department, and social services. SOME OF the classes being offered for adults include stained glass, bridge, Indian cooking, gourmet cooking, Israeli dancing and tapestry weaving. Special workshops include "Divorce - a Women's Per-' spective, body rhythms, "Crises in Adult Life, and "Single Parents and Adolescents." Adoles-cents." A WHOLE range of physical fitness activities will be offered of-fered such as alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, women's exercise classes, basics in basketball, yoga and much more.
