Show I ' - 'A Ij V- J. I V V MAGIC Si'ORD "Arthur And The Magic Sword" has opened an exciting excit-ing new season of Young People's Theatre at Pioneer Memorial Theatre. THE PLAY was written and directed by Keith M. Engar, executive producer of PMT and chairman of the University Univer-sity of Utah Theatre Department Depart-ment who just completed ' directing the very successful "Camelot" on the same stage. The scenery, costumes, and lighting which were so magnificent mag-nificent in "Camelot" have been adapted for this production. produc-tion. IT IS in these surroundings that the story of the mythical king of the Arthurian legends unfolds. The infant Arthur is sent to live with a local family upon his father's death until he is of a suitable age to claim the throne. " With the help of Merlin the Magician all is brought back to its proper order and Arthur is able to prove his right to the throne. CHILDREN will be introduced in-troduced to many familiar characters from the Arthurian legends including Merlin the Magician, Marion, Arthur, Mordred, and the wicked Morgan le Fay. Cast for this production includes: Ian Bigelow, Jennifer Jen-nifer Blomfield, Ann Floor, Whitney Ann Floor, John Flynn, Mary Anne Greenwell, Lonnie Hill, Carin Janis, Chuck LaFon, Creed Ostler, Scott Palmer, Edward Peterson, Peter-son, Star X Phifer, William Richardson, Ray Romney, and Chris Satovick. "ARTHUR And The Magic Sword" will play through Oct. 28 at 4: 15 with two additional shows on Saturday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tickets are available at the PMT Box Office. Of-fice.
