Show Rites Set For Leo Monks "'X s - V V, X " ' i LEO MONKS Leo Thomas Monks of Bountiful, age 53, died of cardiac car-diac arrest while hunting deer in Duchesne County on Oct. 21, 1978. HE WAS born July 11, 1925 ; at Roosevelt, Utah to Louis E. and Thelma Marchant Monks. Married Ethel Rae Zufelt on Feb. 19, 1944 at Ames, Iowa. He was a member of the LDS Church. He served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during. World War II, was a member of the Utah Peace Officers Association, a member of the Bountiful Elks Lodge No. 2442 and a Davis County Police Officer from 1951 to 1976. SURVIVORS ARE: wife of Bountiful; daughter, Mrs. Calvin (Shauna Rae) Willisen, Salt Lake City; grandson, Randall Todd Willisen and a sister, Mildred M. Shaw; a nephew, Terry Grow all of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 25, 1978 at 1 p.m. at the Bountiful 36th Ward Chapel, 102 East 1400 South. FRIENDS MAY call at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 195 North Main, Tuesday 6:30 to 9 and at the Ward Chapel on Wednesday 11:45 to 12:45. Interment in the Bountiful Memorial Park. |
