Show Ang hospital board abolished MOAB Grand County Commissioners have voted to abolish the 8-year-old Hospital Service District Board and take control of the facility. Financial control of the institution was lax, the commissioners said prior to their Jan. 22 vote. The trust fund set up for the hospital had dropped from over $500,000 to about $100,000 in a 24-month period, despite additions to the fund of $250,000, they said. The vote removes the board that was created in 1983 with the formation for-mation of the hospital district |
