Show Shop Romania for babies OREM Ginger and Chuck Larsen longed for more children I and the answer came to them one night while watching television shop Romania. I The country has a high birth rate and many unwed mothers, which has prompted people from all over the world to travel there in hope of adopting babies. The unusually high birthrate was an outgrowth of the policies of Nicolaqe Ceaucescu, the former Communist dictator I driven from power and executed last year. Under Ceaucescu 's rule, Romanian couples were required to have 1 at least four children. Abortions and contraceptions were illegal. I In October the Larsen s saw on TV the many unfortunate children in Romanian orphanges, and decided to try their luck at adopting one I of the unwanted children. They traveled to Romania in December and five weeks later returned re-turned home with not one but two infant girls 3 -month -old Lisa I and 5-week-old Christina. Friends and relatives say the new little "almost twins" are fitting I right into the family. |
