Show Project 2000 seminar scheduled at DA TC KAYSVILLE The Davis Applied Technology Center and the Davis School District will jointly sponsor a Project 2000 Seminar, "Jobs of the 90's." Feb. 13, at 7 t p.m. It will be held at the Davis Applied Ap-plied Technology Center, 550 E. 300 South, Kaysville. Featured speakers will be Utah Jazz player, Mark Eaton, and his wife, Marci. Joining them will be Dr. Carol Berrey, Utah Department of Community and Economic Development, De-velopment, and Dr. Kelly Matthews, vice president and economist for First Security Bank. Speakers will address the topic of education and employment opportunities oppor-tunities for the next decade and beyond. The seminar is co-sponsored by the Project 2000 Coalition, the Standard-Examiner, the Utah Jazz, Smith's Food and Drug Centers, Mul boons Restaurant and the Olive Garden Restaurant. Students, parents and interested individuals are invited to attend. Utah Jazz tickets, posters, souvenirs and restaurant gift certificates cer-tificates will be given away as door prizes during the seminar. |
