Show Davis County Fairgrounds to host annual livestock show Youth throughout the county are encouraged to call an FFA advisor at one of the high schools or the Davis County 4-H office in Farm-ington, Farm-ington, 451-3413, for further information infor-mation on the livestock program. BOUNTIFUL According to Steve Jackson, Extension agent with Utah State University, the Davis County Junior Livestock Program no longer needs to worry about where to hold its junior livestock show. The new Davis County Fairgrounds will provide a perfect home as the livestock show will be held in conjunction with the Davis County Fair scheduled from July 3 1 to Aug. 3. Extension agents and FFA advisors ad-visors encourage county youth, ages 9-19, to get involved in a livestock project. This year's show will include a sale for 4-H'ers and FFA members to sell their animals. The livestock show committee is presently contacting con-tacting businesses to enlist their financial fi-nancial support for the livestock show and sale. |
