Among the stock was a Duroc jersey pig, weighing eleven hundred pounds; a short-horned bull weighing two thousand pounds; a three-year-old Hereford weighing eighteen hundred hun-dred pounds; a Holstein weighing twenty-two hundred pounds; and a champion -jersey cow giving seven hundred pounds of butter fat a year. We were especially interested (Continued on page eight) Dixie FFA Classees (Continued from first page) in the display of Utah's finest agricultural ag-ricultural products. The farm mechanics, me-chanics, television and other modern mod-ern developments were very enlightening. en-lightening. We returned Monday and hope that in the future many other boys may have the same opportunity oppor-tunity for this trip that we did. |
