Show Ann C. J. Milne Yisits Relatives In St. George Ann C. J. Milne, who for many years lived in utter blindness, and then had her eyesight resored one year ago, is visiting in St. George and Washington, guest in Washington Wash-ington of her son Athole J. Milne and wife, and in St. George of Joseph J. Milne and wife, of Mrs. George Milne, and of her sister, Mrs. George E. Miles. She spent one week in Washington before coming to St. George last Thursday Thurs-day and plans to be in St. George visiting relatives and friends for several days before returning to her home in Murray. Milne and wife of Whittier, Calif., who arrived in St. George the night she arrived in Washington. Calling at the homes of many of her relatives and friends, Mrs. Milne, affectionately known as "Aunt Annie" is thrilled to be permitted per-mitted onec again to see their faces, to see the great white Temple and the stately Tabernacle, Taber-nacle, on which her father, George Jarvis, and her husband, David Milne, were master workmen. She notes with interest the improvement improve-ment in St. George, the many new business buildings and homes which she has heard of, and in some of which she has been be- fore, without seeing. "It is all so wonderful", she keeps repeating, "to find so many things and people still familiar to her sight, and to recognize how many improve-ments improve-ments have taken place during her years of blindness. Although she is near 92 she seems in excellent health and gets about readily. She plans to see many others before returning home. |
