Show Hurricane Julia Whitney Reporter Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Steward and children are moving to St. George on Saturday, September 21, where Mr. Steward has the position of music director in the Elemetary school. Leon Robinson and Thelma Gurr of Caliente, Nev., were here Sunday visiting with Ruth Spend-love. Spend-love. Miss Spendlove is recovering recover-ing rapidly after her operation. Leah Pearson and children of Hollywood, Calif., visited at the home of her mother, Mrs. Marion Stout this week. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Spendlove of Richfield spent last week-end at the home of Mrs. Mary E. Workman. Work-man. Mrs. Walter Workman entertained enter-tained the Wednesday night card club at the first meeting of the season on Wednesday, September 18. Sixteen guests attended and prizes were given. Eddy Welsh left recently for Ohio. Mrs. Welsh and small daughter are planning to join him in a few days. Pansy Sheffer has returned from a two-week's vacation in various parts of California where she has been visiting friends. Mr. and Mrs. LuWayne Wood returned to their home in Boulder Bould-er City, after a few days' stay at the home of Mrs. Anna Wood. Hugh Gibson took his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Gibson, their son Melvin, from Salt Lake City, and Calvert Wood on a week's trip through Arizona. They returned Friday. Rodney Hoyt is home from Marysvale where he has been employed em-ployed throughout the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Allen May and children of Las Vegas, spent part of last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Whitney. Mr. and Mrs. Burr Bradshaw recently moved to St. George so their son would be near the college. col-lege. Lafayette Staheli spent the week-end at Enterprise on business. busi-ness. Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Carr of Las Vegas, recently took Mr. and Mrs. Atkins Hinton to Terry's ranch to visit their daughter, Mrs. Marion Terry. Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Sullivan and children left Sunday for Las Vegas where they will make their home. Mrs. Wendell Flater and Mrs. Walter Zalewski left Friday, Sept. 13, for Indianapolis, Ind., and Toledo, Ohio, respectively, where they will join their husbands. hus-bands. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Sanders went to Cedar City on Saturday to visit Mrs. Sanders' sister, Mrs. Bessie Cutler, who recently received re-ceived medical attention there. Arlean Hall of Hurricane, and Ardell Peterson of Cedar City were married Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Dalton and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Stout returned Sunday after taking Mrs. Gerald Gifford to Salt Lake City where she plans to spend a short time with her husband before he leaves for the Central States mission. mis-sion.
