If General Forbes' suggestion is carried out it will be tho first time in the history of this country that an army division lias been mobilized in time of peace. Three sites nre suggested for staging stag-ing this immense assemblage. One calls for a centralization in the vicinity vi-cinity of Klamath Falls, Ore., another in the Sacramento valley and a third in southern California or Arizona along the Mexican border line. The plan, If carried out, would bring troops from Montana, Utah. Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Colorado, Colo-rado, California, Arizona, Idaho and other mountain states. oo |
