Show oo A BOOK ADVERTISING OGDEN. The Union Pacific railroad officials are proud of the booklet. "Ogden Canyon" and J. A Munroe. vice president, pres-ident, writing V. H Chevers, general agent. Ogden. says 20,(on copies were received from the printer for distribution, distri-bution, of which 10,000 have been sent to the Weber club Mr. Munroe makes this further reference: "The book is very attractive; is a good advertisement for Ogden, and likewise for the Union Pacific, and we aro glad to have had part in its issuance. It clearly illustrates a move which we are making for the upbuilding of Ogden, in which the LTnlon Pacific is mutually interested with the people of Ogden." Mr. Munroe and the other officials Of the Union Pacific, including Gerrlt Fort, and not overlooking O. H. Mohl er, president of the road, have done much for this part of Utah, and they have made no mistake in giving this i district their attention. We know of no city on which those railroad officials of-ficials could work to better purpose than Ogden, in an effort to add more traffic to their road by the process ot upbuilding. Ogden can be made l city of 150.000 and the Union Pacific can play a most important part in the creating of a metropolis of those proportions, in the most beautiful spot in all the west, at the portals of "Ogden canyon." rrv |
