Show CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP Ingredients: One cupful of evaporated evapo-rated milk, one-half can of tomatoes. one cupful of cold water, one-half ta-blespoonful ta-blespoonful of tomato catsup, one tea-spoonful tea-spoonful of butter, one teaBpoonful of ilour, one-half teaspoonful of salt, one-half saltspoonful of white pepper, a pinch of baking soda, one-half toa-spoonful toa-spoonful of sugar and one small bay leaf. Blend tho butter and the flour In a saucepan over the fire, add the ovapo, rated milk mixed xrith the water, the bay leaf, and' let come to boiling point. Next heat tho tomatoeB to the boiling point and strain them; add to the liquid the soda, Bugar, tomato catsup, salt and pepper, then add to tho other' ingredients and serve hot. |
