Show EDWARD BOYLE TELLS DF LOBBY Chicago Lawyer Legal Representative Repre-sentative of Prison Labor Contractors Without Retainer. Washington, March 20. Edward Boyle of Chicago testified to the senate sen-ate lobby committee today that while no specific fund had been raised among prison labor contractors for the defeat of the Hughes bill to regulate regu-late shipments of prison products, he had appeared before congressional committees as tho legal representatives representa-tives of contractors opposed to the measure and had been paid under an agreement by which various contractors contrac-tors contributed. He said he had no retainer. Boyle testified he had been paid to oppose anti-contract labor legislation legisla-tion by officials of the Paramount Knitting company, having shops in Illinois Il-linois and Wisconsin, |
