Show Genealogy library moves to new location CEDAR CITY - The LDS Regional Genealogical Library has been moved to the Cedar Stake Center, 158 East 400 South. The library has been previously located in the north seminary building on 300 West Street Leslie D. Burbidge, regional coordinator of the branch library, . said the move was made due to a need for relocation and in order to better utilize existing facilities. The genealogical library will now be located in the northeast wing of the Cedar Stake Center. The library will have its own outside entrance. The library will be open Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Wednesdays from noon to 9 p.m. The genealogical extraction ex-traction program which has been located along with the library will now be housed separately. The extraction program has moved to the basement of the Cedar 2nd-8th ward chapel, 212 West 200 South. Burbidge said the library extends an invitation in-vitation to the public to visit the new facility in the Cedar Stake Center. |
