Show Three selected to conference team McCurdy is a senior just completing an accounting ac-counting major with a business administration minor. She is the daughter of Cecil and Carolyn McCurdy, 250 West Aspen, Moab. Long, a junior this year at SUSC, is majoring in psychology and minoring in mathematics. She is the daughter of Walter E. and Lenna G. Long, 1026 East Oakey Boulevard, Las Vegas, Nev. CEDAR CITY :-Three :-Three Southern Utah State College Softball players have been named to the 1982 all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team. Selected from the Thunderbird squad after the RMAC Tournament last week in Alamosa, Colo., were second baseman Julie Rotolo, pitcher Lori McCurdy and centerfielder Denice Long. "We're pleased with the selection of these three players. Each played a big role for our squad this year. All three are players with a lot of heart to go with their physical ability," Bruce Osborne, SUSC softball coach, says. All three players were among the fielding leaders on the T-Bird team. McCurdy and Long rank one-two on the squad in hitting. Rotolo is a sophomore majoring in forestry and minoring in botany. She is the daughter of Nick and Jean Rotolo, 419 Grosvenor Place, Chicago Heights, 111. |
