Show The CHS Country Fiddlers will be one of three groups ' featured Monday in the school's first Pop's ! Concert. Pops concert scheduled for Cedar High School CEDAR CITY - The dress is not black tie. The music won't be particularly par-ticularly formal, either, as the combined CHS music department presents its first pops concert Monday. Concert time at the CHS Auditorium is 8 p.m., and the public is invited to attend the evening of fiddling, singing and jazz. The groups to be featured are the CHS Country Fiddlers, directed by June Larsen; the Crimson Soul, directed by Shirley Roper; and the CHS Jazz Ensemble, directed by Jim Dunaway. All three groups have won numerous awards and recognitions during the past few years. Each of the three groups is co nposed of select, audit' med students who are members of the Varsity Orchestra, A Cappella Choir.or Varsity Band. |
