Show Snow levels look good Snow measurements from the Soil Conservation Service for February 1 reveal more of last month's good news. Brian Head as an example, was measured as having 45 inches of snow presently as compared with 19 this same time last year. Water content in that 45 inches is determined to be 13.5 inches. Other figures include Duck Creek -37 as compared to 12; Webster Flat -44 as compared to 11 ; SUSC Ranch - 32 as compared to 5 last year. Water content this year as compared com-pared with a five year average is generally above normal, with only a few exceptions. Biggest percent of normal is Long Valley Junction with 197 percent of average water content. |
