Show Rachel Henderson selected to Utah Drill Team By Lorraine Dalton Rachel Henderson, Cedar High School Senior, has been named third attendant to Miss Drill Team Utah in the annual State competition held this year in Orem High School. Rachel, daughter of Mrs. Iris Henderson, Hen-derson, was selected from twenty other girls to help represent Utah in the National Drill Team competition to be staged February 10 and 11 in California. The talented and creative coed serves as drill mistress of Mohey Tawa, and has been a member of the group for two years. She performed a routine to the music, "The Fly", along with a speech and poses. She presented them with y , . ,r t f- . ) t , v Mid I . ' v RACHEL HENDERSON grace and enthusiasm. She is now preparing for the MISS DRILL TEAM USA Pageant where there will be girls from all over the nation. Mitzi Morris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Morris, also of Cedar City, entered the competition for Miss Drill Team Utah and was selected as one of the ten finalists. Miss Drill Team Utah 1977, Heidi Dean, graduate of Cedar High, crowned the 1978 Queen, Lisa Tueller of Logan; 1st attendant, Peggy Bates, Logan; 2nd, Denise Jennings, Layton; 3rd, Rachel Henderson, Cedar and 4th, Vickie Vraines of Skyline.
