Plans for the "Do It With Style" dance sponsored by Evans : Cosmotology College are made by, left to right: Sherry Heinz, Valerie Beckstead, Cindy Johnson, Carol Nowers, president; Rick Evans; Katie Hollingshead and Brenda Kopp. Hairdressers sponsor Benifit Dance "Do It With Style," is the theme of the benefit dance being sponsored by Evans 'Cosmotology College on Wednesday, Feb. 8. The dance will be open to the public and will be staged at the large ballroom at Southern Utah State College. It will begin at 8:30 p.m. "Justice," will provide the music, those in charge stated. "Funds from the dance will be used to help students from the college attend and participate in various beauty shows that are staged in Salt Lake City," Dale Evans, owner and manager of the college indicated. in-dicated. Carol Nowers, who serves as president of the students at the Cosmotology College, indicated that the Hair dressers hope to not only raise money, but to provide a much needed service to the community by sponsoring the dance. "We work cooperatively with the college in many activities," Evans stated. "As a result they are helping with the dance by providing the facilities." Tickets will be available at the Cosmotology College or may be purchased at the door. Admission is $1 per person. Assisting with the promotion and fund raising event are other officers of the hairdressers including Cindy Johnson and Rick Evans, vice presidents. Other committee members include Brenda Kopp, Valerie Beckstead, Sherry Heinz and Katie Hollingshead. |
